Trouble loading game files/ computer crashing

Post by scorpio »

hello. my freind and i have been trying to play eachother on net play. no matter which one is the host, when we load the games it says "file not fount at remote". both of us have our roms/zsnes in the same folder, located on our desktops. we have never had this problem until recently.

also, sometimes when he clicks on "connect" his computer will freexe up and crash. hes running on winxp home ed, and im using win 98.

we were using v 1.337, so we both downloaded the latest, and still have the same message.

could someone tell me how to fix this?

[edit] also, im using a 56k modem and hes on broadband, but we have never had this problem until now.

Make sure you set the game directory right.
Try out CCleaner and other free software at Piriform

The problem is that in Win Xp, the desktop directories are not the same as in Win 98, I would recommend that you placed both zsnes folders in drive c, for example:

C:\Zsnes\Roms
