Hi, I have some n00bish questions I need answered. I looked at the Router Port Forwarding thread and did everything there. So, first off I would like to know if this is correct:

My firewall is off and my friend still cannot connect. The IP he's using to connect to me is the one I gave to him from IP Chicken. Does he need to have the same settings for the port range as I do?
Help Please

Unless you're on an academic or corporate network, 99% of the time, your router is your default gateway and DHCP server reported by ipconfig. The port may vary from router to router.
