Any way for two players to control player 1 via netplay?

Want to play with a friend over the net? Find out all the info you need on how to configure your PC, network and of course ZSNES. Also the correct place to find people to play with and what software they use.

Any way for two players to control player 1 via netplay?

Post by mushboom »

My friend and I enjoy taking turns playing single-player games, and I was wondering if there was a way we could set it up so we both controlled player 1, eliminating the need to go to the netplay menu and swap regularly. If this isn't possible in zsnes, does anyone know of some third-party program we can use to mimic my inputs on his pc? Thanks.

There is no way in ZSNES. I don't know about anything that does it, either.
How would it choose which input to follow ? Many snes games start glitching when you hold opposite directions at the same time because the devs never considered the possibility.
Surely you can see where it would allow grief between players if they disagree (it happens).
