Is zSNES a dead project?

If is not a dead project then where do I find evidence that is not a dead project?

1. I did search but no solid evidence of current development.

2. That post was old (April 2009) What if days, weeks or a month after that post the development stop?

It is in development. Except, all development is in a private SVN, and it will stay that way.

ZSNES doesn't need beta testers. When the next official release / WIP is ready, it's ready for everyone.

That thread was an april's fools joke.

Development is not dead, but all the devs are really busy with life and cannot spend much time on it.
