Hmm.... well AFAIK you need the following in order to take advantage of HT technology:
1. A Hyper Threading CPU, DURR!
2. A mobo which understands HT, and is enabled in the BIOS.
3. An operating system which understands HT (Window's XP, though I heard XP pro was better than home @ HT tech)
