anybody experience any problems using mana_sword's patch?

the game doesn't seem to want to load with the patch, and if i load a pre-saved savestate from the unpatched rom, the whole screen becomes buggy.

try setting a different video mode, sadly it's been a while since I played it, but I remember that in zsnes, you had to use an especific video configuration in order to be able to see the text.

I think the menus use the high-res mode or something, I got it to be readable in a DR mode.

Any 'D' mode above 640x480 seem to work. Non 'D' modes do not work as far as I can see.

hmmm...i get a ddraw error that says mode available only 16-bit color whenever try to set the video in DR mode

Well, change your desktop color to 16-bit.

No problems loading here. Patch applied to RS3 V1.1 with header. Also works with autopatch.
