I am Having some Problems with Star Ocean.

Okay I us ZSNES 133.7 and i got a japanese SO rom and i named the translation the name ending with IPS instead of SMC so yeah. it works and everythign i can read it its in english. but its all color boxs. So I read this README note in the download and it told me why. I NEED TO DL the DECOMPRESSION PACK 4.0. so when I got to the page I click the link it leads me to geoshack... and a whole bunch of thngs like need to copy a CD and it says sponser links!!! thats all!! and I try to search the SO Decomp. Pack 4.0 and it says the same thing! I don't know what to do! so can soemone helpme tell me what I am doing wrong, Or SEND the pack to my E-Mail draconmcknight@yahoo.com. It would be MUCH appriciated.

P.S. Sorry for ym bad typing havent got sleep for 48 hourrs and I type with my index fingers and th espace with my thumbs so soemtimes i hit th espace to early.

try using the latest ZSNES, S-DD1 support has been included from at least 1.40 on (at least a couple years ago)

oops... heh I mwan so its 1.40?? n sdd1??? i am bad at emulator i learne dabotu it almost 2 years ago but all i did was play chrono trigger thats it. and my sister BF dl it for me so yeah.

Although, you might want to use unofficial Snex9x 1.5.0.2 for Star Ocean as the latest ZSNES has various problems with the game.

Because recent versions have problems with Star Ocean? If you could recommend a good WIP, that would probably be better.

Oh yeah, I forgot all about the Star Ocean problems.

The worst that could happen is assigning incorrect blame, which people tend not to goto Gamefaqs and find a bugs document to refer to at times...

Which, coincidentally is probably why some of the SNES FF ports have some of the same documented stupid bugs.
