nonexistent on the ps3, outside of linux, but i haven't done that.
on the 360, you can flash your 360's drive firmware to allow it to read burned discs. anything else will more than likely get you banned from live, so most people leave it at that. although a flashed 360 apparently also carries the risk of getting banned, but it's far less likely.
