Congratulate me

Post by adventure_of_link »

..for now I have a DS Lite. For free. :D

My dad found it at work tonight. It comes with iSpy Funhouse, but what can ya do if it's free...

time to find me some cords and some decent DS games (like Zelda: Spirit Tracks, New Super Mario Bros, Pokemons, Final Fantasy 3 DS, etc..)
<Nach> so why don't the two of you get your own room and leave us alone with this stupidity of yours?

Phantom Hourglass is at least as good as Spirit Tracks.

FF IV (DS version) was even better to me than III.

Play the Professor Layton games.

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor also.

How do you exactly "find" a DS? (Insert joke about your dad and harassing little kids etc... clarify the "finding" stuff or flaming/hilarity will ensue.)

hotel dusk and whatever the name of the previous game from that same developer was.

trauma center.

also, i thought someone had necro-posted in my severely derailed thread of the same name.

Or you could just continue the "for free" mentality and get an R4

Also, Phoenix Wright and Trace Memory.

Does he clean hotel rooms or something? I used to get stuff (clothes mostly) from relatives that way sometimes, but that's after the hotel's tried to contact the guests and waited at least a year for someone to claim it.

Anyway get Contra 4 and Shiren. And maybe Nanostray 2 and some Castlevania.

R4 is obsolete, get an AceKard 2 instead. Or maybe a CycloDS Evolution if you have the money and want the in-game text reader and real-time save states.

trace memory! that's it

and a second to the phoenix wright games

i should also note that an ez-flash 3in1 can enable ds rumble; but more importantly, gba gaming.

Trace Memory.

Exit DS, if you didn't already buy this game on PSP or 360.

Dark Spire.

MISTAA DRILLA!

Feel the Magic.

Scurge.

And Phoenix Wright trilogy. I have no opinion on Apollo Justice yet.

I have a supercard sd that worked alright, GBA slot method

But I upgraded to the Supercard DSOnei and am pleased with it...

Check dealextreme if you want a cable cheap, and a flash cart, be warned as they're SLOW with shipping

Close, he does housekeeping at a hospital. Apparently someone must've left a DS out of nowhere, tried to find who it belonged to, and gave up -shrug-

Thanks again Kode for the suggestion of AK2 on ZSNES IRC. Looks like good stuff from what you and the site told me. :)

Thanks guys for the list of games to try and/or get.

And Sweener, speaking of that thread of yours with the same name, you and your wife still together?

The Ace Kard 2i can be found cheaply on dealextreme.com and i suggest to buy the DSi version because it is more durable than the regular version and it can also be used on other types of DS other than DSi.

1) AceKards aren't on dealextreme.com. Searching their site and putting AceKard+inutl:dealextreme.com doesn't help (although Google found some reviews of it on their site)
and 2) when I shop online, I tend to look for the following on the site:

1) McAfee (or some other known reputable anti-virus) scanned
2) trust-e logo
3) Verisign logo
and/or 4) BBB logo

all clickable and relevant to the site (does no good if the picture is on dealextreme.com but was for newegg.com for example. :P) And sadly, I found NONE of those logos on dealextreme.com.

DealExtreme is good. Even if McAfee doesn't say it is.

But I got mine from there and it shipped fast. What worries me now is that they don't longer have it. BTW McAfee is crap!

It still doesn't change the fact that DE no longer has AceKards (for the time being, hopefully).

My last order with dealextreme took exactly a month from date ordered to date received, and that was my supercard dsonei

they're good, but slow, and they use paypal for payment, I beleive you have 45 days to get a refund from paypal if something goes wrong, no entirely sure

my current order is at like a week, and is still not shipped
