myth or fact?

I ran across a rumor and I don't know if its for real? It was about FF3, supposeably you can reserect General Leo if you go to the forrest in the world of ruin where Gau's fathers house is and defeat 4,000 t-rexs and then you fight and defeat a creature that gives you a rare item called Reserect. Then you bring it to Leo's grave and you get him on your team. I just wanted to check.
