Strange problem with latest svn

Right now I tried testing it with two games: FEOEZ and Aretha 2.
With FEOEZ it seems to work fine, although I lost my near-end save, so I can test it completely (I suspect that that bug I posted here with openbus is still there). However, Aretha 2 behaves strange. Sometimes it fails to start altogether, sometimes it works for awhile then suddenly stops. In one of those tries I got following result:

On an other try, zsnes froze when I tried to quit.
Any idea what is going on or at least an idea how I can try to find out what is going on ?

The point is that it has worked until about 2-3 weeks ago and I find it a bit strange that instead of stopping to work altogether it brakes only for some games.

You shouldn't, its code that is being worked on daily, don't expect it to be stable all the time.

My point is not "It's broken" but "it's broken for SOME of the games"
I would not post it if it was simply broken, but if it stopped working only for some titles, somebody could have missed it. Whatsmore, as I suspect the latest sound handling changes are the issue, why did they affect quiting the GUI ?
