Go tothe Cheat menu after you run a game and toggle cheats you want to use. Or check "Auto-load .cht file at game load".
whicker: franpa is grammatically correct, and he still gets ripped on?
sweener2001: Grammatically correct this one time? sure. every other time? no. does that give him a right? not really.

Define what you meant by "nothing in the cheat menu"?

If the menu itself is not operational, then you need to load a game.

If cheats don't magically appear, the cheats won't load automatically when "Auto-load .cht file at load" until the next game load. What you can do in this instance is load the game again or just click on the load button in the cheat menu.

You need to move the ZSNES window up a bit to see if the option is checked.

However, for your Chrono Trigger cht file renaming.. what I saw in your pic is terrible.

If your rom is named...
Chrono Trigger (US).smc
Then your CT cht file needs to be named...
Chrono Trigger (US).cht

It is very important that the naming is precise, otherwise ZSNES will not find it.

Yea ive tried that to... Still nothing tho... Any other suggestions? In fact, i renamed the original rom file, and copied it, so i know its precise ( i changed it since that picture )

EDIT: Sorry guys, on my games that have the (US) on the end, i misspelled it with (US without the extra ) xD Thanks for your help though

Thanks
