ROM stands for Read Only Memory. The game data in a cartridge is stored in a ROM.

Hence, no ROM requests is aka don't ask where to get the games.

or CD-ROM, if a guy has no concept or what something is it might be harder for him to understand it, but you might figure it out with all the rom sites.

in this particular case you just need to know that roms are games. the emulator ZSNES is the video game machime, and the roms are the games. They don't have roms here, nor do they tell you where t get them, so you'll have to find them yourself.

This is because of legal complications.

A ROM is a physical media. SNES ROMs are semiconductors, while nowadays roms are usually large capacity discs.

ZSNES can only run ROM images, not the ROMs themselves.

Only if you want to get super technical about it. Referring to ROM images as ROMs or roms is acceptable shorthand.

There are legal public domain roms too, I think that is allowed to ask for.

If you want to get anal about it... :?
Y~K wrote:A ROM is a physical media.
The full name of the media is "ROM chip". ROM simply means read-only memory and specifies the access.
Y~K wrote:SNES ROMs are semiconductors
They are electronic circuits on a chip that is made out of semiconductors.

You both get the cookie circlet, which restores major HP on cookie damage.

I'm a bit late, else I'd have done it myself, heh.
