Windows Vista

Post by Cthulhu4u »

I'm currently using an old computer with Windows 98, but am getting a new computer that comes with Windows Vista installed. Does ZSNES work ok with that OS? Do I need to do anything special to get it going.

Thanks

Arguably you could say vista works with zsnes.

Flamewar ensues.

What do you mean arguably, i'm running Windows Vista and ZSNES works just fine on it?

No, Vista works fine with ZSNES.
There's a difference.

And since now I'm 18 and the oldest one here, my word is law, so stop arguing.

:D that one never gets old.

And apparently neither do I. Despite going almost completely grey since I turned 18, I'm still 18 :D

We're all 18, as long as we use the right base/radix.

Yeah, that's odd. I've only gotten a few gray streaks, but I'm seriously too young for that. Not sure what's up with that ... but seems like whatever is causing it, you're a lot better at it than me (as usual).

Well, as long as you're older than 16, still ... awww! That is so clever, and yet I'm depressed that there's not a single person I know in real life who I can tell that to and get anything but a blank stare from ;_;

Reminds me of the Oct. 31 = Dec. 25 joke.

Well, as long as you're older than 16
"The right radix" can be slightly tweaked in our favor. :)
Minimum age to fit 18 almost legally is 5 (in a ternary {0, 1, 8} radix).
And there's always the possibility of using a binary {'0', '18'} radix, which drops the minimal age to 1...

You are younger than me and going grey... I think you must be experiencing too much stress  Although I shouldn't be talking, considering the stress medical school has brought into my life :P .

I wouldn't exactly call it a skill to have reasons to be stressed out. I just probably have a lot more family and other real life issues than your above average screwed up guy.

I always look at it, that if it's above one, it can always be 10.

<Friend> Nach, how many coins are in my hand?
<Nach> 10
<Friend> Wrong I had 12
<Nach> Perhaps in base 10 you have 12, but in base 12 you have 10
<Friend> What? :?
