i was referring to software, although it can be said of hardware, i suppose.

nintendo will continue to be stupid when it comes to giving people what they want.

like the lack of an actual online platform, which will lose them all kinds of money when nobody can buy rock band tracks. six million downloads, and nintendo won't even try to come up with something to get in on that. i don't think it would be hard to add an update that allows the SD card to be read like a memory card. since they did it with the GCN.

this super famicom classic controller just makes me all the angrier.

And yet... the only thing they've done that genuinely annoys me is bungle Metroid.

I definitely agree... I was agreeing with both the software and hardware comments. Nintendo has so much potential with this platform, and it's the little things they're doing that are really starting to bug me.

Not that normal netplay and the guitar hero tracks are little things. Maybe it doesn't matter right now while the consoles are continuing to sell like crazy, but they need to work on their software model a lot...
