More sprite disable/enable options?

Post by nensondubois »

This program allows you dibable/enable more sprites so you can see/not see everything. Can this be implemented in ZSNES?

What program? You can already enable disable graphics layers in ZSNES by using numbers 1-5.
whicker: franpa is grammatically correct, and he still gets ripped on?
sweener2001: Grammatically correct this one time? sure. every other time? no. does that give him a right? not really.

And furthermore, why would you want to turn them all off at once anyway? That seems like an incredibly useless feature. There's already a button to turn them all back on anyway, which is actually useful.

Just mash 1-5 with your hand, it'll do the same thing.

And I'm also curious to know what "this" is.
I bring the trouble.

Well, vSNES can hide individual sprites.

I'm going eventually lock this thread if the author isn't going to be clear and concise on what the heck he is talking about.

What it sounds to me is that he wants the opposite of the panic key, which I don't see why you couldn't use the brain to turn off all the bg+sprite layers manually, especially when ZSNES gives you confirmation of those changes.

These threads by the author are bordering annoying.

I only asked this feature because it would be interesting to see hidden backgrounds in some games that you were not meant to see normally and it may serve for ripping ExGFX for Super Mario World hacks. This may serve in small use in making codes like BG modifiers but I doubt that's important.
