Will the ZSNES ever be updated so that it converts ZMVs and SPCs into AVIs and MP3s? It's pretty obvious why one would want that, but is there a specific reason why not? Legal issues? Technical issues?

ZMV's already can be converted (or used) to make AVI files. theres a huge thread stickied at the top of this forum about it. Use Microsoft Sound Recorder or something to convert SPC's to mp3/wav.

I've checked all the 3-4 stickies, but it doesn't seem like there is a sticky about that on this forum... maybe on the other forums?

Wow, I surfed through the links and it looks really technical, I think I'd rather play a Hypercam or something over it...

It's not very technical. If you follow those steps, you'll get to video recording in no time.

Duh, you need to go get a SPC plugin for foobar.

But apparently you have to download it in 5 parts, in 7zip format, which I doubt my computer supports...

Thanks for all your help, like I've said a milllion times, I'm not that great with computers...

7zip support is in 7zip, which can be downloaded for free and found easily with a google search, and winrar, which is share ware with a free trial(after the trial expires, it just bugs you when you open a file, however. Takes two second to turn off the popup) and easily found via google.

I see no .7z files. Unfortunately, that version is pretty old, though. I have found the site you may be talking about but it only requires 1 of those files. They're just different builds optimised for different CPUs. Get the one that closely matches your CPU in features or it may not work.

Which version is zsnes tested to work with or would it work with pretty much any mencoder version?

I believe thats where he is thinking of downloading it from. you only need to download 1 thing from there. ^ is also the place mentioned in the sticky as the place to get mencoder for ZSNES.

You don't need to open memcoder. ZSNES does all the work.
