Which will never happen, as Nintendo said they're never gonna release it. Because of their unwillingness to not release it, people resorted to making an unofficial (and very professional) translation. Who cares if making an unofficial translation is "illegal"? Besides, I refuse to pay an inflated price for an imported GBA game anyway. Their fault for not releasing it IMHO...Squall_Leonhart wrote:

Original Mother 3 J cart, as long as the patch users have an original of it, nintendo can't say shit about it, regardless of what their worthless booklet disclaimers say.Joe Camacho wrote:Care to back that up?Squall_Leonhart wrote:Nintendo don't care as long as the person has an original mother3 cart.Tomato wrote:Actually, the folks at Nintendo already have my name, and even probably most of my current contact info

Again, care to back that up? I mean those "worthless booklet disclaimers" have a reason to exist. That you don't agree with them, on the other hand, is different.Squall_Leonhart wrote:Original Mother 3 J cart, as long as the patch users have an original of it, nintendo can't say shit about it, regardless of what their worthless booklet disclaimers say.Joe Camacho wrote:Care to back that up?Squall_Leonhart wrote:Nintendo don't care as long as the person has an original mother3 cart.Tomato wrote:Actually, the folks at Nintendo already have my name, and even probably most of my current contact info
Hell, how can you say that "Nintendo don't care" about this, when in their booklets include disclaimers against actions such as "backups" and "archival" copy purposes.
You could even say that they don't care because they didn't shut down the project when they could, instead of shitting on the legal disclaimers in instruction booklets.
Still, one thing is making a back up, another thing is modifying the software all together, still I stick with my "Nintendo cares, they just choose not to stop the project".
