Oneechanbara rests in my Wii right now.
Yes, it's a dumb game. But it's fun as hell.

If a woman in a bikini and feather boa hacking zombies apart with katanas doesn't sound like a good time to you, then there's something wrong.

i debated getting the 360 one, but the 29/100 metacritic told me otherwise. i do like a good hack/slasher, emphasis on good.

SF IV will be mine, eventually. but i've got a massive backlog building up, and all the DLC dropping, (Fallout3, burnout paradise, mirror's edge, gta IV [suck it franky], more fallout3 and burnout, possibilities of more fable 2 and Mass effect, etc.) that backlog gets harder to shorten. doesn't help that i've still got a lot of last remnant left, proper grinding so as to stand a chance at endgame, and since i'm making up for screwing up on disc 1, it's a lot more grinding than normal.

then there's the newly acquired shin megami backlog. devil summoner, digital devil saga 1 and 2, persona 3 and 4 (those two required playing since i bought them, will play 1 and 2 on psX as well). also FFX (love that one, don't care what you think) and XII (15 bucks new, and i might as well give it a real chance this time around)

then there's DS games. contact, trace memory, fire emblem remake, DQ remakes, pokemon platinum (i want to be able to say i finished at least one, and this seems like a good one to tackle), and a few others. and while not DS, mother 3 needs finishing.

regardless of your personal stance, achievements on the 360 can give games a lot of extra life. i consider myself a mild achievement whore.

so basically i won't be picking up onechanbara

By most counts, the Wii one is better in every respect.

The 360 one was a 1st-gen title, and D3 wasn't going to bring it over, except the fanbase raised hell.

I won't say it's as awesome as Earth Defense Force(THE must-have title of the XBox 360!), but...

... trace memory...
Excellent game.

I actually haven't really done much with Hotel Dusk. It seems good, but I got an action itch shortly after I picked it up.

I prefer Oneechanpon (aka Zombie Hunters 2 over here) on the PS2. Yes, it's good fun although repetitive. Good eye-candy, good system.

Same with Earth Defense Force.

I don't believe in PAL. There are no english versions of the PS2 games. Sony sucks.

What? D3's made no secret that SCEA blocked their attempts to bring many games to the US.

Therefore, Sony sucks due to the manner in which one subdivision of one division conducts it's business.
It's the way of the internet!

What?
I believe this was grin's subtle way of saying that Europeans never got Street Fighter III: Third Strike with their copy of Street Fighter Anthology.

I can't be sure, but it would be damn fitting.

Man, I'm getting pissed off at the last bosses in SRWAG.

I've been spoiled by the OG games, where you can get SP regenerate, where I can at least caste Alert without spending SP.

Also, bosses have a bunch of HP and recover it like 3 times. The mission states that I have to only defeat two machinery children, but I'm sure that if I use all my SP the real last boss will appear and will rape my units without SP.

Playing Front Mission : Gun Hazard, Hard Secret of Mana (only at the Matango) It isn't a walk in the park like regular SoM, Joe and Mac 2 with an online buddy. children of mana, gotten inside the mana tree. Battle Toads in Battle maniacs, (not as good with the air bikes as i used to be). Street Fighter Alpha 2 and Street Fighter Alpha 3 on ggpo.

Makes me feel like i'm missing out on the next gen consoles though. I don't really want the next gen consoles, since ps2 is good enough for me. I've tried em though.

Only if you suck.

There's just no way to make it hard without rewriting the whole battle engine to remove stunlocking.
