Refresh my memory about NVidia fullscreen blurring

Post by Tallgeese »

Hey guys...

I know that it's here on the forums somewhere, but the search is being uncooperative.

I imagine you know the drill, when you have an NVidia card and you go fullscreen, the image is blurry. I remember numerous topics on the forums detailing how to fix it (something about bilinear filtering), but for the life of me I can't find them now. What did I need to turn off again?

Turn off DirectDraw acceleration, or use Vista.

Also Desktop -> Properties -> Video -> Advanced -> Whatever tab on the advanced menu that has it -> no filtering.

Some day in the far future this will come back again to bite you in the ass when 4x filtering will be forced to run at all times.
