Just edit the thread title into something newcomers will understand.

zsnes (btw i'm too stupid to learn the name of the emulator) isn't too bad, lol I some times pronounce it this way. :)

but it has been and will always be "ZSNES" the best SNES emulator in za world. :!:

While I was reading this topic it occurred to me I couldn't seem to recall what the current version is... ( I checked. v1.51?)(Its been a while since I kept up to date on ZSNES.
btw I still check from time to time, Ipher's WIP site and the
http://cia.vc/stats/project/zsnes.

edgeemu got sucked into a black hole caused by the LHC taking everything with it, that is what happened.

The LHC has yet to collide a single particle.
Get back to me when it's actually switched on fully.

it didn't work correctly and now they have to cool it all before working on it and cooling it takes months iirc.

The big event everyone was hyped for wasn't a particle collision. It was a series of collision-free test shots.

And an electrical connector failed during the test shots, damaging an asstone of magnets, as well as dumping several tons of liquid helium into the particle collider.

The problem isn't that they have to be cooled down before working on them. It makes extensive use of superconductors. They had to WARM EVERYTHING UP before they could access the collider to work on it.
Which was expected to delay everything by 2 months(A month for warming up the damaged section and another to cool it back down).

They also had to clean up contamination from the failure, and repair or replace several damaged components that weren't directly impacted by the failure.

But they're also conducting a major safety upgrade at the same time. They had a monitor that would've detected the fault before it failed, which would've made this a much simpler task.
They also developed and installed additional equipment to help prevent damage should there be another failure.

They ALSO ran out of spare parts. The final replacement magnet actually wasn't completed and they had to wait for it to be completed before they could prep and install it.

Wrong.
The LHC created a black hole that sucked up the Earth.
We all ended up in an alternate universe with no recollection of what really happened.

(I used italics, so it makes it true.)

Please can we go back on topic now?

All Right... I'd like to give you a suggestion as well, considering the emulator potential.

That's a horrible name.

Reirom Emu All System, or REAS for short.

Hmm. Have in mind it does not emulate ALL systems... Sound Catchy, Trough.

My intention is to make it sound as cool as possible. I have a modification of the another name in mind.
