Just the classic heads up:
FOCUS ON WATER

along with a piece of advice if you completely fail:
EVERYTHING IN WATER THEN EARTH

Suckers should go for a 5:3:1:1 ratio (water:earth:fire:wind) while good players on their first playthrough can go for a 3:1:1:1 ratio.
No amount of FAQs will help you survive without that.

Just finished Disc 1 of Final Fantasy IX and failing to steal the Mythril Sword from Beatrix. Need to try again. Also tried my hand at the PSX remake of Final Fantasy.

Persona 3 FES is in the works again, currently enjoying summer vacation in July. Takaya is creepy bastard.

Shoot... there was a save file where I did that on, and now I forgot where I was supposed to go

oh well, I started a new game, and unfortunately I've been building up my elements evenly. :( it feels like a thousand years since I've played this game. thanks for the advice though grin.

on another note, you ever played Quest RPG for gameboy color? it's actually pretty good and somewhat easier than Quest 64.

Just pump everything in water until you reach one of the aforementioned quotas then.

nope

Gotcha.

eh, that one can go either way, I managed to build all my elements evenly and whore avalanche and/or homing/wind cutter. pretty simple.

bad thing is, I was only able to get like ~265 HP and ~150 MP at the end.

Heh, Quest64 (Holy Magic Century over here) had this weird charm to it, despite being a terrible, terrible game. And yeah I learned the water element thing the hard way.

I'm playing Mass Effect after getting it for ten bucks on Steam. Great game, minus the elevator rides.

Unreal Tournament 3 is pretty fun. I'm bothered by the GoW-style corn they polluted it with, but that's fairly ignorable.

Borderlands! But I beat playthrough 2 and now there's nothing much left to do. Just running around murdering Superbad mobs.

I'm playing the same and the game is much tougher than the first. Expert mode is truly more difficult this time around.
