ubuntu 10.04 zsnes problems.

zsnes having problems in linux not loading cht files and the audio is not sync please help anyone..
cht are fine i boot zsnes (btw i'm too stupid to learn the name of the emulator) with wine from my other hardrive and it load the cht just fine both of them are version 1.51 and havin audio sync problems too.

CHT files: Check that the file names are correctly capitalized, including the extension, since Linux has case sensitive file systems.

As for the skipping sound, I think there are command line switches to choose different sound output drivers, but I can't recall them off hand.

1.CHT what do you mean? by capitalized please give and example.
2.i don't know the commands either so iam guessing no body knows.
3.All my CHT files work just fine in the zsnes 1.51 for windows.

ps.My main language is spanish so this word (capitalized) get's me confuse.

UPPER CASE versus lower case. Try changing the file name extensions to .cht instead of .CHT.

Linux hace diferencia entre nombres de archivo en minúscula y mayúscula.

archivo.cht no es lo mismo que Archivo.cht
Archivo.cht no es lo mismo que ARCHIVO.CHT

Have you tried different sound drivers? I have to use SDL because other ones sound like crap.
