in which i get accepted to college
It has been months since I last posted on here. Some of the older board members (back to ~2005) may remember me as Chrono.
I just wanted to let you all know that I was recently accepted to Princeton. I will be studying physics there.
That is all.

Good stuff. My master's supervisor got his PHD in physics there, should be a good school.

Wait, weren't you CronoKid (or ChronoKid, forgot spelling)?
In any case, congrats all the same. Good luck.

<Nach> so why don't the two of you get your own room and leave us alone with this stupidity of yours?

Haha AoL, I think you're right. It was CronoKid. I guess you have better memory than I do. Also, I'm vey sorry if I was ever rude to you back in those days. I was roughly 13 when I first found these boards and very immature.
Thanks for the congratulations guys. I feel as if this forum first really spurred my interested in computer science, and consequently math and science in general.

No worries. It's just the nature of the ZSNES/Boat forums I presume.Sferics wrote:Haha AoL, I think you're right. It was CronoKid. I guess you have better memory than I do. Also, that being said, so much for I'm this big moron when I was able to remember Sferics's old nick eh? (that line isn't targeted towards you in particular btw; it was more or less for everyone.)
No problem. and a certain other board that I visit sparked an interest in working on cars for me; right now I'm back in school for auto and diesel mechanics.Sferics wrote:Thanks for the congratulations guys. Congrats. Welcome to the world of expensive textbooks and tuition.
Re: in which i get accepted to college
Have you been on campus odditude? I live hundreds of miles away and would be very interested in your perspective.
Thanks Phonymike! I remember you and I talking about electrical engineering briefly one time... something about modding a SNES multitap?
snkcube, I am actually quite fortunate in this regard. Due to my family's income, Princeton is offering me a 50,000 dollar/year grant. My hope is to graduate debt free.

more through the town; i've walked through a small part of campus when my girlfriend and i took a community program that was hosted there. like many college towns, though, there's plenty of shopping and places to go in princeton borough. it really is a nice place - only thing that sucks is the traffic in the area if you happen to be driving anywhere near rush hour.

You are one lucky person! But yeah, you'll enjoy the college life. It's very fun. Heh heh.Sferics wrote:snkcube, I am actually quite fortunate in this regard. Due to my family's income, Princeton is offering me a 50,000 dollar/year grant. My hope is to graduate debt free.
