The next ZSNES update should add another thing to the Netplay tab. Like a Server List or something. So that whenever someone is hosting a server, people can join it right on the spot without having to do all of that messaging about the IP Addresses and whatnot. It would be very useful. It could hold up to so many servers. It could just as well have 1000 servers in it. They could name what their server is called so that people don't have to look through a huge list of IP Addresses. It would be very helpful too. Like one server could say "Dino312's Super Fun Server" etc. Though you'd be playing SNES games with random strangers, it beats playing alone. :)

Getting netplay to work is not a priority at the moment.

It is like, third or fourth on the list. Not that much down.

For a non dead project I suspect rigor might be setting in :)

I may need to stick a mirror under you dev's noses to test for breath.. :)

Would be nice to implement a three plus player option for zsnes. I'm not counting that it will happen though. Actually, it probably won't happen, but as much as I use it to play online with a few certain games I play, it would be cool. Third and Fourth priority down the line isn't bad and if a new net play isn't implement, that's okay too. People just ought to read the Documentation of the latest zsnes before they hit the forums, that's all. But if you can't read, you're wasting your time as well as someone else's time.

I don't understand how its not dead. The last update was In 2007. That or the site needs updating. But based on what I have seen other than a few forum posts it seems pretty dead. But maybe I am wrong. Maybe the fabled 2.0 will be released and prove me wrong. 4 years is quite a bit of time.

It's still in development. Just be patient as the devs are coding on their spare time.

Give the devs time. If we were paying for it and they could work more than "when they can spare the time" on it - which may or may not consist of a decent chunk of time - there's a good likelihood that it'd be done. But as it stands, it's not their full time job to write this, and at this point, I'm going with "it'll be ready when it's ready". Judging from previous statements from the aforementioned devs, there's progress. Personally, I'm happy knowing that eventually, it'll be ready in their eyes, and I'll keep checking back every now and again for such a time.

That's a pretty decent deadline. Deal.

We'll focus on making tetris work. Only tetris for starters.
