That makes only 2 right now. Plus, it's a lot more acceptable than huge bold hot pink blinking text.

It probably uses the shitty tone-deaf remix used by that b&w vid.

Fuck, it's a single swap error and I can't stand it.

I wouldn't call myself tone deaf and I'm hard pressed to notice it. Then again, I don't have that musician's ability to transcribe tones as actual keys, or read sheet music or even notes in text form and automatically know what the notes will sound like. I only have the ability to mostly hum or whistle a tune from memory, on key. And even then, I still make transcription errors now and then. That's why if I'm going to transcribe something, I will listen to it carefully, and if necessary, apply time stretching to the source material to give myself more time to observe.

Probably because, like a lot of fans, you didn't play LLS at all (lol pc98) and aren't listening to its tracks (along with all the other originals) on loop every day.
I suck at the audio stuff compared to many audiophiles, but I can catch any divergence from the originals, and that particular swap just absolutely ruins it for me. The rage-building kind of ruin, it's really silly how bad I'm affected by that crap. It -is- one of the best tunes of LLS, I advise everyone to listen to the original or the official remix (in Akyu's Untouched Score vol.1).

The fandom was pretty bad before with all the wankers that didn't even play the games, now there are people drooling over wrong melodies thinking they're the real deal.
Fuck me. Shrug.

Good thing I end up not giving a shit after some rant-venting.

I haven't played any of the games. I just found the video on YouTube. While looking for chiptunes, I think.

I know I found the PC-66 version of the remix first.

That's just the same shitty remix with the wrong note sequence with shitty voice synth on top.

This is the PC-98 original: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fn5l02pFu0k [listen closely @ 0:21-0:22]
This is ZUN's remix from Akyu's 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Su8UOs0SFA [listen closely @ 0:21-0:22 (duh)]
