Super Final Match Tennis (Human)

Post by Imhotep »

This game has never worked in ZSNES and still doesn't work with RC1. Title screen is displayed, afterwards the screen stays totally black.

Just wanted to let you know  I posted this some months ago already but my post disappeared somehow when the board was down.

Disabling the SPC emulation seems to help.
IIRC the games by Human use a sound engine that relies heavily on timing or hardware features.

The old posts are gone.

Disabling SPC doesn't help here.

Try restarting ZSNES.

That's correct, thanks for your help Eagle !

Still, running the game without sound is not too funny.

Still not working in 1.40 :(

Why does the SPC emulation keep this game from running ? SPC works fine on many other games. Has Human created a unique system to use the sound chip inside the SNES ? Or is it simply because nobody looked at it so far ? :P

Still broken in 1.42, game freezes if SPC is enabled.

Should I continue reporting here? Or has this been added to the list of known bugs ? Thanks !

Must be more tricky than I was hoping :? But I noticed that sound for this game is working in SNES9X, so it should be possible somehow. Is anybody looking into it already ?

Human games will probably be fixed once zsnes has better SPC timing. Don't ask when.

This is one of these SPC-rape games. Requires special timing to run with current engine.

BUMP.....

Any progress on Super Final Match Tennis (J)? It still requires sound disabled to run. I saw it was on the list of hacked games, maybe it would run with this hack?
