James Pond 3 Operation Starfish graphical problems.

Post by Malmern »

Hi,
I'm currently using the latest version of ZSNES,
and I'm having issues with JP3,
I'm "seeing double",
is this a known issue with this game?

For some reason,
I couldn't put up the image directly in the post,
it kept saying "It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image. Please verify that the URL you entered is correct."

Probably. ZSNES is known to have a lot of flaws. No one cares about bug reports because a ground-up rewrite is coming any day now, in Valve time.

DirectInput represents all bits, not just powers of 2 in an axis.

Yes, part of James Pond's body is misplaced,
check out the image to see what I mean,
and it gets worse when I move,
his "ghost body" moves at a different speed than his physical body,
but that was hard to capture in an image.

Edit: Here's another screenshot of this glitch:

I did not say that. I did not MEAN that. If Duke Nukem Forever can ship, there is always hope.

Well, I'm not gonna lie, given that Zsnes 2.0 or whatever it's called is only being worked on by one programmer, and that he's pretty busy IRL, I just don't see it happening. But
IDFK anymore. :(

Duke Nukem forever took over a decade to release, Zsnes 1.51 was in 2006, so, maybe 2020? Hell, if I could help beta test, I would.
