Something tells me that "ALL: Fixed transparency in warp effect in FF3 [pagefault]" has to do with this.

That's what I figured too.

The WIPs don't need docs. My theory is that if you are using a WIP you should already know how to run ZSNES.
And they'll be in the next WIP unless you see something in the release notes about them.

Edit2: Does not occur in feb 10 wip.
Thanks for the report, added to bugzilla: Bug #24

I requested this fix weeks back... too bad it affected something else :(

Though, I'm pretty sure it'll be figured out soon. I don't think it affected anything else though (it just seems that only that menu was affected).

It seems transparancy isn't applied in the non-highlighted boxes.

Ahh.. I'm so used to getting docs with every release of ZSnes or <insert other random software here>.. thanks Ipher.
<Nach> so why don't the two of you get your own room and leave us alone with this stupidity of yours?

Great release. Thanks again.

The sound issue still occurs where I can't open ZSNES with mp3s playing anymore. Primary buffer is not enabled. Sound in ZSNES has to be disabled entirely for those mp3s to work now. This started when the primary buffer option was implemented.

Wierd, I don't experiance that. What sound options are enabled?

Confirmed here. I'm using Winamp, and I tested the latest CVS against 1.42.

It doesn't matter if Primary Buffer is enabled or not.

-Stereo sound
-Enable sound
-Sound buffering
-Gaussian
-Hi Quality

It doesn't matter what's enabled, it happens. I'm not the only one with the problem as I know two other people experiencing it. It only started when the primary buffer option came about... Thanks for the confirm IceFox.

Also, some sound anomalies occur for me when 'Primary buffer' is enabled. Those same anomalies occur whether it's on or off for another friend. This occured with those same changes, I believe the 2/10 WIP.

Hmm, thats odd... WinAMP works fine for me while playing ZSNES (i run WinAMP while i test for bugs most of the time).

Edit: Alrighty, it seems that if Primary Buffer is ENABLED (default), it works fine. If it is DISABLED, WinAMP super fast-forwards to the next song, and just sits there at 0:00 on the next song. I remember this happening before, but i thought my comp was just going crazy.

Note: you have to restart ZSNES in order for for the Primary Buffer thing to change itself

Remove that one, it's meaningless to the end user.

Nice WIP guys. TG3000 is fun and looks great. I was able to run full speed even with HQ2X. :D This emulator just gets better and better.

Oh, I'm pretty sure we'll still get threads about it with people using older versions of ZSNES.

OT, but how did you do the ZSNES icon? Did you use Illustrator? I'd like to get a copy of that, if you don't mind. I'm trying to come up with some ideas for ZSNES merchandise.

OT?

I used Paint Shop Pro, and a lot of perfecting.

I should make a larger version of this icon, shouldn't I? :)

OT == Off-topic.

I was hoping it was vector based. Oh well. :P

I just thought the very same thing as I read this.

An SVG file would be cool.

Since you brought that up...
I just compared the old ZSNES icon to the new one, and at the smallest resolution, the old icon was much more readable where it says ZSNES; the one used now is almost completely illegible. Do you think you might be willing to improve that part of the current icon (just the tiny version)? :)
