FILE NOT FOUND AT REMOTE !!!!!!

Post by wes337 »

Gahhhh!!! It always says "File not found at remote!"

We have the EXACT same roms in the exact same folder. We are using 1.36!
Both of the roms are in C:\Zsnes\roms .

What is going on?!

Look at the topic about port forwarding, read it and do it. If your friend also has a router, make sure he does that too.

Your misunderstanding the problem. We can connect. We get in the chat. Perfect, great. Load Contra 3, AND THEN "FILE NOT FOUND AT REMOTE".

Are you on a LAN? If you are, have you tried loading other games?

To truly own, you must own at all games.

Unzip them both.

Then, make sure the "open" dialog box on one machine is pointing to the directory that the rom is in, and have the other person open it.

I've had this same problem. I made sure both roms were exactly the same and unzipped and in the same folder. But heaven knows, it didn't work.

The only solution I have to this is removing all traces from ZSNES from your hdd, then installing again and configuring it from scratch on both sides of the multiplay. It works for me and my friend when we do it this way.
