UMK3 Problem

Post by AT »

Well, I tried to enter the Human Smoke code on my Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 emulator... It didn't work. The code requires you to press and hold Back, X, Y, L, and R at the same time. When I tried doing this using the keys on my computer, my keyboard just kind of beeped. Then I tried using the Key Combination Editor. I put in the proper buttons on Press+Rel, that didn't work. I tried using Press Only, that didn't work either. I also tried adding a 1-second frame delay between each button pressing... It still didn't work. Can anyone please help me?

Maybe the code is wrong, check different sites to see if that code is the same as others..

Just to be on the safe side, could you please provide NSRT info for your Mortal Kombat 3 ROM?
<Nach> so why don't the two of you get your own room and leave us alone with this stupidity of yours?

Well, I know the code worked in the SNES game... And what does that acronym mean? NSRT, that is.

Nach's SNES Rom Tools. http://nsrt.edgeemu.com

Use it to scan your rom and see if it's a good dump.

A key combination should work just fine.

What prevents you from downloading NSRT now, putting it to a diskette and then using that diskette in your laptop?

Files --> NSRT 3.3 Release Candidate 2 and the frontend too if you suck with the Command Prompt. And read the stickies about posting bugs (on this board).

Yes, I know you're sorry.

Agozer: You forgot to mention, read the documentation which comes with NSRT and the frontend.

Well, just to clear this out, most computers or keyboards don't let you press more than 2 keys (at least alphabet keys) at the same time, that's why the code didn't work. You could try remapping your controls and use cntrl, alt, shift, etc.
