I asked about this already and the move has been postponed as Jipcy said. No need for an update, but Nach said it would be an easy fix.
PS: I checked on SF and the move has not happened yet.

In some cases, yes. But you shouldn't need to. Not in HTML, but maybe (probably) in CSS and Javascript, you can.

If it's done that way, then lamers will use multi-megapixel images and dialup users won't know why the page never finishes loading...
