Meh, somewhat helpful. This might be better than searching through google in certain cases.

I'M A GAMEBOY, AND I HAVE A RECOMENDATION:
The best place for software is via the Arch Linux repositories, if you are a linux user. Clean, up-to-date, no-bullshit repos that always have the latest (and usually bleeding-edge) stuff. By extension, what I'm saying is that if you are a linux user, I recommend that you Arch Linux.

I don't know what I was on when I installed over Arch Linux with Ubuntu Linux a while ago, but I do know that I'm going back to Arch very, very soon.

I assume this thread is primarily about Windows software. I've honestly never had an issue with download.com since they've cleaned out the spyware but I'll remember this one, too.

*passes franpa a box*

This is a sarcasm detector. It will peep in the presence of a sarcastic comment.

Here, let's try it.

This is Sarcasm Detector Custom. It's red, 3 times more sensitive than a standard Sarcasm Detector, and it beeps instead of buzzing.

Reminds me of a prank call to a water company I heard; the caller asked the woman on the phone if they used dihydrogen oxide in their water. She said "No we don't. What kind of good effect does that have?"

Without water, we wouldn't exist! Do you really want Dihydrogen Monoxide contaminating your water!?!?

Keep that Hydric Acid out too!

edited for silly typo: I put H20 instead of H2O
