I'll bite.
Hopefully you have been using regular in-game saves.
If you were saving with save-states, chances are they are damaged so they will do you no good.
Have you tried returning to that point from your last savepoint?
Edit.- Post your ROM Info.

Sorry guys..like i said i'm new to all this stuff i just got the emulator and rom few days ago and didnt care about all this settings and stuff as long as the game works perfect, and it did until now
where can i see the rom info
i mean when i load the rom i see this
final fantasy 6
Interleaved: No
Video: NTSC
Bank:Hi
Type: Normal
CHKSUM: Fail
CRC32: 6D6D1661
is that it?
and yeah i've been using "save state" a lot since this game has lack of save points..but don't get me wrong i use save points as long as i see one,its just that i rarely see them in the game

It sounds to me that you're using an old hard patched version of the game. You need to actually have the original and get the latest translation.
An updated version of the translation can be found @ romhacking.net. However, we cannot tell you where to find the game/ROM that is unpatched.

It'll work if they didn't change the RAM format.
I suppose the only thing to do is to back up the FF6 save and then rename it to match the FF3 ROM.
(back up the FF6 save first, because on the chance it isn't compatible, FF3 will probably nuke it)
Of course, you'll probably have to put up with glitched names.
