Chrono Trigger bug?

Post by hectorocks »

I recently began playing Chrono Trigger on ZSNES and encountered a problem when I came to the area with the rat you have to catch.

I know you need to stand in front of the glowing console and hit L+R and then A to proceed, but this doesn't seem to be working with ZSNES.

If anyone has experienced such a problem, please let me know of any solutions.

And yes, I did enable L+R in the input config. menu.

Are you using a gamepad or keyboard?

Your keyboard sucks. Try a different key configuration. What helps is using modifiers like control, alt, shift as well as spreading out which keys you use.

Another solution is to set that to a key combo (MISC -> KEY COMB.).

Lastly, using a controller. This'll allow you to use any combination of keys unless you get some really crappy controller.

If a pad you bought cannot return all 1s, you bought a paperweight.
