Keyboard unresponsive

Hello. Whenever I press the appropriate keys for A, X, B, Y, L, or R on my laptop's keyboard, ZSNES fails to register them. In fact, it only responds to Start and Select. I have made repeated attempts to make sure my input device was set properly, and that the keys are set properly, but nothing works, so if anyone can help, I'd appreciate it.

If I remember correctly, others that use laptops have had similar problems... Other than that, I don't know how to fix it.

Can you try with a gamepad?
