SNES Smartjoy

Hey all, I have had the SNES smartjoy usb adapter for a while but I have never gotten around to posting this question. The problem is that I notice a slight bit of lag from the controller and ZSNES. It's very minimal but almost enough to discourage its use, because I'm very funny about that type of thing. When playing on the regular SNES, response time is noticably quicker. Is there any way I could get rid of the lag or does anyone know what I'm talking about? Thanks!

I have used the same adapter with my PS2 pad, and I really haven't noticed such lag (even if it is minimal). Then again, it could be because I use a PS2 pad.

Other than this I don't really know how to fix your problem.

turn off triple buffering if you have it on.

remove all other usb devices from your local bus, and see if that helps.

get rid of unneeded tasks, spyware, and useless stuff that takes up CPU time and resources.
