But, when I click save State it says unable to save, I know your supposed to make the save folder I think, but I forgot what to do...

Um.... Make sure the folder Zsnes is in is NOT read-only. The save directory is, by default, the same folder Zsnes is in.

Are you running it from Cd-ROM, or another type of unwriteable media?

No, its on my harddrive, the save folder i Made is named save, in the Zsnes folder, and not read only, it steal says Unable to save!

Set up the savepath in CONFIG ---> PATHS.

It wont let me make it Non Read only, it wont let me do that to any folders...wtf! WindowsXP Btw

This is a common problem in Windows XP. .I don't remember what the solution was, it had something to do with the attrib command in the Prompt. Search the board, this has been talked about before.

Although my folders appear to be read-only, they are not.

EDIT: Hmm... perhaps "attrib -r x:\games\zsnesfolder /s /d" might do the trick
