About the Key recording.

Post by Serious Callers Only »

There is already key recording in zsnes i assume (for the movies). Would it be to much trouble to expose this funcionality to record the keypresses only? This would give a way to record macros for game sequences much more easily than the current method of trial and error.

I think he meant record input and save as macro/key combination not as a movie. Is this really implemented? I know the ability to create key combinations is, just not recording those.

That's what i meant. If I made a wrong assumption on how the movies are implemented, never mind.

You are correct in your assumption. Movies only consist of an initial save state followed with timestamped input events.
