I don't have a valid IP, can i netplay?

Want to play with a friend over the net? Find out all the info you need on how to configure your PC, network and of course ZSNES. Also the correct place to find people to play with and what software they use.

I called my provider to ask for my roter's ip to portforward the 7845 port... so they told me that i don't have a valid IP and it's effortless to port forward... but i think they didn't understood what i wanted... anyway, would you guys tell me if i can netplay with a non-valid ip?

thanx

They probably mean you are already behind a NAT firewall so you cannot make direct net connections. Nothing we can do about this.

You may be able to participate in TCP games as the client only, if it's not blocked. Somebody else will have to be the host, and UDP is out of the question.
