Or you know, maybe he wants LOCAL or *his* NATION'S particular news too.

Or maybe his laptop is too hot to be used while he is taking a dump.

I read 2 decent newspapers a day, and a number of the free ones floating around.

I find The Globe and Mail to be Canada's best national newspaper; and maybe it's best overall. I'm not so fond of the Montreal Gazette, but the Ottawa Citizen is quite good as well.

Newspapers beat internet news sites forever. Why? Because i don't have to sit in front of my monitor for 20 mins to read them.

Oh, I do too, I read www.expreso.com.mx, www.elimparcial.com.mx and www.eluniversal.com.mx.. But it's not the same as reading it at the kitchen during breakfast.

And I don't have a palm.

And some of us actually spend some meals away from our desktop systems and aren't equipped with laptops, so newspaper makes for a handy distraction. Nothing like catching up on the Image latest news while you refuel.

I actually just have time to read it either while at work or at school. Newspaper arrive at home much later than the time I am already off there.

Ours comes home at about 3-5am... I sometimes even hear the *SLAM* noise the paper does when it hits our door.
