I want to post some Youtube vids

I have about an hour of video footage shot when I was in college and I want to make some clips for Youtube posting.

Q: What kind of software should I use to split this file up? It is a large wmv file.

I know youre asking for apps, but its a relative thing. What some people like, other people hate.

try videohelp.com it has links to free tools of all sorts.

here's one of the videos I uploaded, but it doesn't seem to show up in my standard searches yet. Does anybody know how long it will take until people can access it through the seach feature of youtube?

fyi, I'm the guy with the camera, it's not really funny until the end, and even then that's a stretch.

I would go with Sony Vegas, the full program can be downloaded right from their website, just get a torrent program that can selectively download files and grab the keygen of it from a torrent, problem solved.
