I figured as much, but I mean, what are they called? (ie. Something to type into a search engine or Ebay.)

Where do you get SNES copiers?

I've used some multipart ROMs, but for some reason, Mega Man X3 wouldn't work as one under 1.42. It did in all the other versions.

When I opened the zip file that Mega Man X3 was in, unlike the others, it wasn't an .smc or an equivelant, it was listed as

mmx3.1
mmx3.2
mmx3.3
mmx3.4

I merged the files into one file and now it works fine. Thanks for leading me in the right direction.

How do I do that?

Mega Man X3 doesn't seem to work in the 1.42 version. It's worked great on 1.36 over the last year or so but when I downloaded 1.42, I get an in game error message when I start the game. It says, "Interface Register ERROR!" Then at the bottom, it says "Press Button to Continue". ...
