Amazing! It's a real thrill to see some more progress on actual emulation. I imagine it feels good for you too.

I can't wait to see where this goes.

Couple weird bugs in v0.42. Not really huge bugs, but thought you might like to know: 1. Close and re-open bsnes. Go to input configuration. Click on an assignment that has something assigned to it (as in, not "none"). Click Unassign. The line item increases slightly in height. Closing and...

Okay then, if everyone possible could test this quickly , I can post a new release tonight. Especially the input mapping, and especially there for gamepads / controllers. When I open the WIP, this is all I see: http://www.endoftransmission.net/pics/bsnes_error.png I freezes the entire screen. I can...

I've been wanting this for a while.

I'm not talking about any other image at all. I'm just uploading the same image, smaller size. So that the most optimized version of the image has a chance at being the one put into bsnes. To save as much space as possible.

All four examples look excellent with the transparent background. I noticed on the ones that blend with the black background, that the bottom edge of the controller looks fine, but the top edge (around the shoulder buttons) has a black outline. Whereas with the white background blended images, there...

So that super expensive rendering program can't output different file types?

Amazing work! I'd be hard-pressed to notice any differences from a real controller unless I was comparing them side-by-side.

What's the best way this graphic can be stored and displayed in bsnes?

That one looks really cool. I like the style. Although I wonder if there's some way to make the letters look a little more like letters. It's somewhat hard to pick them out.

Freaking beautiful! I'd love to see more. What types of files can that software you're using output? Also, where did you learn such awesome skillz? I'm envious. Also, you might think about providing the source files, just to keep things in the spirit of open source. And to dispel any thoughts that y...

Give up already on having subjective pictures of shit in the emulator. Is this really necessary? Why such a negative tone ( imo ) all the time? Why does anything having to do with bsnes have to be set in stone? It's still very much in development, obviously. I think it's going to be quite some time...

http://www.firebrandx.com/downloads/bsnesbanner2.jpg The button shape looks much better. Should the blue and green buttons to be reversed, so they approximately match the order of the buttons on the controller? Also, is there any merit to using one of the fonts used on the the SNES/SFC? If not chan...

- controller graphic: I love this graphic and want to have it in the official binary, but it looks really odd when it's only there for one controller type ... should we keep it anyway? If so, I'll embed it with rcc. Please leave it in. I think it's critical for every emulator to show users what the...

Firebrand, I like yours the best. Some possible improvements: Make the dpad and buttons the correct proportional sizes relative to each other and to the controller as a whole. It looks like the border of the image takes cues from the color and curvature of each side of the SNES controller. So, based...
