I love Vagrant Story, but I doubt that a sequel would be as good as the original game.

I would like to see another Battletoads game, and a Starfox sequel made in the spirit of the original game, that has nothing but Arwing action. Also, a true sequel to Faxanadu.

The shortcut key configuration features in Nestopia (as of version 1.23) are not as extensive as VirtuaNES, though. I like having save and load state mapped to the gamepad. Nestopia only accepts keyboard shortcuts for those functions. At least you can map the fast forward function to a gamepad butto...

I apologize for being slightly off topic. I just want to make sure that more people are aware that there are some NTSC games that output a 256x240 (256x238, 256x237, 256x239, whatever) screen. Please don't forget about these games! This is a PNG made from the actual ZSNES screen output in 640x480 DR...

All I am saying is people are coming here for help, not to be flamed. I don't really care if people do it in the other forums. Just not in the ZSNES * forums.

The beginning of the game, just before Chrono's mother wakes him up? I compared the sound of the game being played on the latest WIP of ZSNES with the sound of it being played on a real SNES. To me, they sound terribly similar, listened to with headphones hooked up to an amp that both the SNES and P...

Since ZSNES Windows automatically uses 16-bit modes by default and there is NO benefit to allow 32-bit or 8-bit modes There is at least one benefit to using 32-bit color mode. In 32-bit color mode the HQ filters will work their magic without needing to use ugly dithering, as they do in 16-bit mode....

Thank you for creating this thread. More than a few ZSNES users would potentially benefit from support of the following fullscreen resolutions in the Windows port: 512x448 DR, 512x480 DR, or both 768x672 DR, 768x720 DR, or both 1024x896 DR, 1024x960 DR, or both These would be nice for users who want...

To my understanding.. Rewind works by ZSNES quietly taking savestates in the background every few intervals. When you hit the rewind key, it jumps to the last savestate it took. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong, which if so.. one could ignore the rest below.) Because of this.. It's not too odd for ...

Yes. I have experienced what you described. Also, most of the time rewind will only go back a split second, barely making a difference. My guess is that they tinkered with the threshold involved in determining whether to go back to the freshest rewind-state, or to go back to the second-to-last rewin...

Super Adventure Island II

The slot machine does not display correctly. The wheels do not spin. I toggled the graphics engine, windowing, offset mode and the background layers, and it still didn't display correctly. I could not find this bug mentioned in either bugzilla or the sourceforge bug tracker. I am using the May 19 WI...
