Forum link on website doesn't work

The "Forums" link on the website directs you to https://www.zsnes.com/index.php?page=discussion which redirects you back to the website instead of taking you to the forum. I mean the bar along the top of the page https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/628080126630035466/1172054161794269274...

Re: My Playthrough of Zelda: Parallel Worlds

I never finished the playthrough, but I did make more progress since my last message (13 parts): https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL4A88A85CD74F6DD5 I also have a complete playthrough of one dungeon in a Zelda Classic quest that may interest those that've never heard of the Zelda Classic progra...

Re: SNES9x 1.53 is out

Snes9x v1.54.1 is out now: http://www.s9x-w32.de/dl/
v1.54.0 info: https://github.com/snes9xgit/snes9x/issues/124

v1.54.1 fixes the emulator to remember Window Size when leaving Fullscreen mode, diagonal down gamepad mapping issue and a 3rd issue that I can't think of off the top of my head.

Re: Finally got around to buying 3D Dot Game Heroes

Zelda: Skyward Sword is a pretty good game for a single playthrough if you can comprehend how to handle the controls (Game re-calibrates the Wiimote+ sensor at the most inopportune times, so you basically should re-calibrate it yourself whenever changing items [Press Down on DPad I think]).

Re: Finally got around to buying 3D Dot Game Heroes

I just wasn't too keen on auction websites back then. My parents had an Ebay account, I just didn't care much, I'd rather deal with proper retailers. Seeing as there really wasn't any way to get the game except from such websites, I relented and finally made an EBay account.

Re: Chrono Trigger Save Mayhem

Save States include the SRAM (Where the in-game save data is stored) and when you load a state it will overwrite the SRAM with the copy associated with the Save State. So if you are loading an old Save State it will replace your current in-game save data with old data. This is done because some game...

Re: WHAT GAMES ARE YOU PLAYING THESE DAYS

My 1st and only death was from the thing that happens as you escape the previously powered down facility. Ah, the pointless addition of a timed escape sequence. Well, I died to the thing you're forced to interact with during the timed escape sequence. I dunno if I should just not care about spoilin...

Yeah I was recently reminded of the game when the Beard Bros. on Youtube started playing it (poorly).

Finally got around to buying 3D Dot Game Heroes

Finally got around to buying 3D Dot Game Heroes, it cost an arm and a leg to buy though (considering its age). It ended up being $67 AUD for a supposedly brand new copy. I would buy it on the PS3 store except oh wait, it's not available on the Australian PS3 store (and I can't be assed setting up an...

Re: Disgaea is coming to PC

My first guess is it is writing garbage somewhere. Somewhere invisible in other ports that winds up being in the graphics routines on this port. God knows it wouldn't be the first game with out of bounds memory writes. And we know from the high-damage crashes it has, shall we say, less than stellar...

Re: Disgaea is coming to PC

It doesn't help that it says "Includes all content from Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness" on the Store Page yet it does NOT contain all the content from that version of the game. Also it seems to be a port of the PSP version of the game iirc? The DS version has the same name and more bonus ...

Re: WHAT GAMES ARE YOU PLAYING THESE DAYS

Ratchet & Clank (the reboot). It's phenomenal so far (just finished Blackwater City), and peppered with references to the originals and the occasional fourth-wall poke about it being a remake. Is that the PS4 game? Does it let you invert both the X and Y axis for both camera controls as well as...

Re: Disgaea is coming to PC

Slightly OT perhaps: What's the difference between proper fullscreen and borderless fullscreen? Proper Fullscreen = Exclusive display mode Borderless Fullscreen is tainted by the Windows DWM and its abysmal Vsync code, Exclusive Fullscreen Display Mode is not tainted by the DWM (Yet). Edit: Also wh...

Re: Disgaea is coming to PC

Since it is a PC port and on steam, they can update the game via patches to fix bugs and glitches just like they did couple of weeks ago. The game is running smooth now however, there are still "some" complaints regarding the game getting crashed. I do think the released was rushed as : 1...

Apparently the PC Port is very crash happy in the late game when you start dealing massive amounts of damage.

Why is Stardew Valley so uh popular? What's fun about it? It seems like it's just Farmville without the annoying social "features"... oh, that's why it's good?

Everything seems to look good now, went through all the pages and checked any URL's I came across. The popup advert is also gone which is good.

Re: Disgaea is coming to PC

The game is in a seemingly reasonable shape now that they've released 2 patches. I'd strongly recommend using the classic UI instead of the new UI though. It seems the new UI wasn't well tested.

Re: Disgaea is coming to PC

Edit: their making great progress towards fixing the issues. 1) The game upscales 720p video content to the specified output resolution using a blurry upscaler instead of increasing the internal rendering resolution to match the users selected output resolution (mitigating the need for an upscaler)....

Re: Zsnes DOS - original resolution

I had a bit of stretching leeway on a Hitachi Superscan 811 monitor. I probably should've kept it but the screen was starting to dim and I didn't know much about CRT's or where to take one to get it repaired or what the cost'd be etc. I ended up getting a Samsung P2350 widescreen LCD monitor around ...

Re: Star Fox (USA, Japan) Video Pauses

I actually feel like hacking them and getting the source just so we have a new version, but best to wait for the official release of course, which would be complete. Good things take time don't forget. I just hope 2.0 has an option to use the classic GUI because I don't like the idea of having to s...
