Haha good youtube video. I chat up a big gamer friend of mine about terrible voice acting in games sometimes and that shikigami one came up once so I decided to try it out. He also pointed me to some site called audio atrocities which has some good stuff on it.

For kicks give Castle shikigami 2 a try, the translation is hilarious but I can vouch for the game itself being fun.

For my D-Link router I have it setup with super-G mode disabled (it sucks ass and causes problems anyway with other equipment) and am running it with WPA personal for security. It seems to work fine with all my wi-fi equipment in the house. Xbox 360, Wii, a desktop computer, and a laptop. My only wi...

Well I'm just not sure. The hack was distributed in a rom format so I have no idea which rom it was actually patched against. The IPS patch in it of who ever made that archive could be for any one of the bad versions of super mario brothers floating around. Edit: Whatever, I removed all the roms fro...

It's a hack called mario forever. Search Frustrating Mario level 1-1 demo on youtube then there's a link to it in the description of the video. The guy made a demo of it but has the real hack in the zip file too. I haven't looked through it so I don't know which one it is. Edit: I'd give you a link ...

Fair enough, man they could of done a better job not having sqaure-enix get on their ass about it (if it turns out to be completely true). This whole thing is rather confusing if you ask me.

Well I did, I just didn't think much of it. So they literally asked them to sue them? If that's the case then I really have no pity for them. If it was just over hyped then that's different. I'll go so far as to care if an entire game is literally pirated and resold, but other then that I have no sy...

At any rate the CE team sure got scared a bit too easy, if I was them I would have just kept working on it. And then have the possibility of being sued and then paying massive fines? I'd rather stop as it's just not worth being sued by a big company. I knew people would bring up the fines. Do you h...

That's a bummer, It'd give me a reason to not keep unpacking stuff. Then at least get websites to store their stuff in a more sane format.

Does JMA allow you to solid archive similar roms? It'd be interesting to have you be able to select which file to load up when loading the game in an emulator. The only time you'd have to unpack games would be to hard patch a rom. That and it would save their precious website bandwidth i guess.

Rom websites like to solid archive similar roms in the same 7zip file which is annoying. Though it's easy to unpack them then use something like rom center and a no-intro dat to repack them in zip files.

Well just offering, if he doesn't need it that's fine. Also I doubt anything bad would happen to it. Worst case his testing on the game would erase my save I figure which is why I'd want it backed up. It's from 1997 or something.. I haven't played the game since then.

There's a bigger chance of Ville Lindie coming back and finishing up the driver then him being able to release his changes legally. Seems kinda silly wanting to do it the legal way anyway. He could have just given his source code to another developer then had them release it under his name or been a...
