Re: ZSnes randomly fails to recognize my controller (XBox 36

Deffo sounds like a controller issue, I would un install the controller from harware, restart and plug it in again and let it install. I had a weird problem with a Snes to USB adapter and doing that helped.

Re: The Best Controller Up to date!

You are right, it most likely is a model number then. I will take it apart when I have time to see if there are any major differences inside. It is possible that because of the popularity of them they are being knocked off.

Re: The Best Controller Up to date!

Just an update for anyone who cares. :) I am still using my iBuffalo controller and it is still performing amazingly well. It has been well worn in and I can still pull off Street Fighter moves no problem. The printing hasn't came off mine either, I read elsewhere that the printing comes off easily ...

Re: F310 not recognized Windows 7 64 bit

Is it the first time you have used the pad? I wouldn't bother with Logitech's drivers, I have the same controller and it was just plug and play for me. I would uninstall the drivers, then go to control panel, devices and make windows forget any drivers you have under game pad. Restart the computer a...

Re: The Best Controller Up to date!

I had a bad experience with one of those SHITTY Playsega controllers; thankfully it was only like $7 including shipping. It'll probably take forever to arrive as well unless there's a good seller(97% or better rating on Amazon) that ships em from the US instead of from Japan. Yuber, was it an offic...

Re: The Best Controller Up to date!

I wasn't asking YOU to do more research; I said I needed to research the pad more myself before buying. You misunderstood. I probably will buy one because they're so cheap. But how can you research without someone having experienced something first? I thought I did good :( Not to worry, I look forw...

Re: The Best Controller Up to date!

once again, the offtopic crap has been split off and merged with the ever-growing sigderail thread. Yes it has rather gone off on a tangent hasn't it? lol. Seriously Yuber. I don't know what more research you want, I have literally tore the controller apart - and posted pictures! What are you waiti...

Re: The Best Controller Up to date!

Thanks man, but I prefer wired controllers over wireless ones. I'll use wireless pads but only if there aren't equal or better wired alternatives. I never use wireless, in fact mine have a 6ft cable... I think wireless is highly overrated! :D http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2815/12468872823_d939d3943c...

Re: The Best Controller Up to date!

I know that pad was officially licensed, and that was rare for a 3rd party controller. They must have been doing something right!

Re: The Best Controller Up to date!

Yuber, have a look at the other thread I posted, i have been using those Retro-bit on my SNES. They work pretty well if you are looking for a controller. The D-pad takes some breaking in, but I don't mind them... They have certainly fixed them from earlier models and I am super fussy (you might have...

Re: The Best Controller Up to date!

Thank you. I know how obsessive I can get over controllers and usually this is what I want to see in a review... :D

And unfortunately I have no wife... alas, in the world of retro gaming there is no time for human dissection... :(

Re: The Best Controller Up to date!

Well, here I go anyway... So here they are side by side... Nothing too remarkable here, they look the same... the Buffalo is a little sharper round the edges, but I really didn't notice when holding it. http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3820/12441461974_585ccb9761.jpg IMAG0721 Here they are with the bac...

Re: The Best Controller Up to date!

Re: The Best Controller Up to date!

Yeah, tried other emulators. ZSNES plays nicely with my 9 year old PC. I know how to set the controllers up. Been using ZSNES for about 10 years! LOL. I use these emulators. ZSNES KEGA ROCKNESX These are the ones that work flawlessly on my old computer. SNES9X seemes to jerk and wouldn't let me use ...

Re: A pixelized SNES controller... really?

I was looking around and I watched a YouTube video of a guy using it and he said it was pretty decent and comfortable. I just think for that price it isn't worh the risk at the moment, if they come down in price I might be tempted Yuber Check the other thread I posted about my new SNES controller. T...

Re: Using one of these beauties!

Oh, I had no Idea they had fixed the D-pad on the XBOX 360 controllers. I had one a few years ago and it was comfortable for SNES games but the D-Pad was a mushy mess, I ended up giving it to a friend that actually owned an Xbox lol. Is there a specific serial number to look out for? I might treat m...

Using one of these beauties!

So... on my endless quest to find a third party SNES controller to use, not just on my SNES, but on emulators too. I have came across this gem, It feels great, the buttons are super responsive and the D-pad feels exactly the same as the official SNES. Well, I was so impressed I bought 4 of them! 2 b...

Problems with Zsnes for Ubuntu.

Been using ZSNES for years with no problem, however today for some reason the sound has went all choppy, usually about 5 minutes into a game or if I change ROMs. I have no I dea why this is. All other emulators are working fine. I deleted and uninstalled and re installed but still the same problem a...
