Well, you could've used a text path for the text... and, the black border isn't well anti-aliased. Maybe using a high-res picture of the kid and opening it up in, say, a vector graphics program (maybe InkScape or Xara Xtreme... or Illustrator), or PhotoShop/GIMP?

If the new version crashes when loading save states, then I suggest saving the game with an in-game save state, or using an older version.

Uh... check your video settings, and maybe your xorg.conf :S. I'm not on Linux right now, so I'm not _exactly_ sure where that is, but probably /etc/x(or X :S)11/xorg.conf. Maybe :/. Maybe do a whereis xorg.conf if that's not the place. Check to make sure 512x448 is an option. Or, actually, a better...

ZSNESnet problems on Linux

I am running Ubuntu Dapper Drake. I downloaded the source code for ZSNESnet from NSRT's website. I configured it, and then compiled it with no errors. However, when I run it, the screen is black, and nothing else loads, and it closes. Here is my command-line output: aaron@aaron-desktop:~/source/emul...

I hope once netplay is fixed, that they start on 4 player netplay. NBA Jam and its variants would be particulary awesome in 4 player mode netplay, same goes for ISSD, which I believe supports more than 8 players. (ISSD = International Super Star Soccer Deluxe) ZSNES supports more than 2 players, ju...

I use Notepad++ on Windows, and Gedit/Kate on Linux.

If I'm doing a quick edit on the command-line, I use nano.

Hi tehnick, no I haven't updated the patch, simply because Google Pages doesn't work with Safari, and I don't want to install Firefox. I can only update it when I get access to a Windows machine. You'd go through that much trouble just 'cause you don't want to install Firefox? Well, you can install...

Use Alcohol 120% or Nero.
Or, if you'd like an Open Source solution with a GUI, you should try CDRTools Frontend.

What GUI library :)? GTK+? Qt? I've been interested in learning either; say which, and I'll learn it to make the GUI for bSNES. Sounds really fun.

Yeah, I know of one: TSR, but I don't like to use other people's sprites, because I don't want to have their name on it. And I figure that if I capture my own sprites that it will help me on making my own custom sprites too. You may also visit GSArchives (link :P) . I'm an admin there, but I don't ...

I have one question: are you using CVS code or the 1.43 release? The CVS has improvements on the 1.43.

[edit] Or, if you don't want to use CVS, you can use a wip at Ipher's WIP site.

I was hosting the tutorial that Adventure of Link wrote (with help of his friend), but the domain to my host expired (my friend was giving me file hosting), and the website itself will probably be deleted soon.
