I wonder if anyone has put this functionality in with the Wii Remote? GlovePIE supports multiple mouse pointers. How many motherboards feature inputs for more than one mouse, or is there some sort of adapter that can be bought? Two PS/2 ports, one each for keyboard and mouse. But then a theoreticall...

Japan was worse... they call game cartridges "cassettes" too. It's actually printed, nay, IMprinted, on the Super Famicom.

It's fixed in 1.xx right now. I have timed it against the original cart. Awesome. It's been a while since I tried it. Hmm. I thought I at least heard the Emergency Emergency part in the intro in Snes9x 1.4smth -shrug- You always heard that. In the versions with bad timing, the later part was cut of...

Our old netplay could do 4p as well with multi-tap. I see no point in emulating XBAND for the purpose of netplay. The XBAND itself was pretty damned cool, but I guess that isn't reason enough to emulate it. ;) It did have two built-in minigames and it made certain 1p games into 2p games (SNES Doom ...

I tried the suggested WIP and got a look of the 'real' Starfox. To be honest I dont really find to be all that playable. The sub-10 fps is evident during virtually all the game and it tanks REALLY bad in some sections (controller issues more evident here too). To compare, I like the 'faster' Starfo...

Anyone still reading this thread? I sent my working SNES Xband Modem to Neviksti last year. I can't remember what he did with it (something like a ROM Dump??), and he sent it back. I now have an Xband.smc file that I can open up with the the SNES Emulator "Sleuth", which emulates everythi...

If this is true, and WeaponLord is hardpatched, then the xband related bytes (i.e. IPS), can be retrieved from inside the rom. If a good dump doesn't contain such data, maybe an Overdump does, but again that's really a wild guess. Unless some romhacker check it, we can't say if it's real internal s...

these four codes will bypass the sram check on dkc u.s. version 1.0 in zsnes: C0E9C0EA C0E9C1EA C0E9D4EA C0E9D5EA for u.s. 1.1 you gotta add 1 to the addresses: C0E9C1EA C0E9C2EA C0E9D5EA C0E9D6EA however I don't think the par can address this on a real snes, but zsnes will decode it. to see them i...

According to this , none of the versions of it work with pro action replay. Actually, that's my Wikipedia edit . I tested v1.0 and v1.1 and found them incompatible. Therefore, clearly, the 1.2 update was not made to counter them. Rather than remove this information (considering that I don't know wh...

Pro Action Replay and Donkey Kong Country

I'd like to record/stream some gameplay videos from an actual SNES without using an emulator, but all I have are three model 2 SNES consoles and a Super Famicom. The problem with the three model 2 SNES consoles is that they only have composite video out... no RF and no S-Video, so I can't, say, capt...

"" isn't relative to anything - its a character that's used to define directories in a file path - its also the general synonym for a file system's root directory when used either by itself or at the start of a local file path. its better to think of a relative path as one that starts wit...

I've been trying to set up PingTunnel to tunnel through ICMP packets. It's slow, and probably not too secure, but IIRC they say that it can't be blocked on any network allowing ICMP packets though. Without it, I can get online and ping, FTP, even Remote Desktop, but any HTTP request triggers a passw...

As for the link cable comment I meant that I'd never seen a super gameboy game that used the link port with two snes. Usually they'd just allow you to use the second controller or the 4 player adapter. Any SGB game with GameLink support could do it with any combination of Super Gameboys and regular...
